Founded in 2000, Art Toronto is one of the most successful fairs in North America. Art Toronto is held annually at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Canada's top convention and trade-show facility located in the heart of downtown Toronto. As Canada’s premier fair for modern and contemporary art, Art Toronto is a celebration of some of the world’s best contemporary artists and an opportunity for new artists to be discovered.

Since 2009 AXA ART has been the Official Art Insurer of Art Toronto. Through its activities at the fair, it demonstrates its support of the growing Canadian art market as well as offers fair attendees collection management education.
